Optimal groups are formed when its members have strengths that li t h th ’ k 5 compliment each other’s weaknesses . Teams cannot afford imbalance based on bias, whim, or accident Groups that Work When people work in groups, there are two main issues involved: The TASK of getting the job done The PROCESS of the group as it acts as a unit (and not a loose group of individuals) In simple terms, the group process leads to a spirit of cooperation, coordination and commonly understood procedures.
