Emily Ko When reading the part that Blunt was tricked by a prostitute in The Rover, it reminds me of the play “Carmen”. Don José was fully in love with Carmen, and was happy that he had the chance to meet the prettiest woman he dreamt of. However, the relationship did not least long since Carmen prefer freedom than a stable relationship.

Because the prostitute belongs to whomever she wants to spend her day with, which Blunt did not think of before he had contacted with her....
