There are many types of theories out there to test. One theory I read about is the non- verbal behavior theory. This is a theory I have tested many times before. I have had many job interviews before, in which I never payed attention to my body language, how I was sitting, using eye contact, and gesturing my hands. I always wondered why, during the interview, I would get a strange look, or the person seemed to lose interest in what I was saying verbally. When I would come home from the interview, I would feel disappointed, and have that gut feeling I didn't get the job. Then a friend of mine asked me if I used eye contact, if I answered questions with a short yes or no, or did I give some detail into an answer. I realized then, what I was doing wrong. I have found out through many interactions with people that your body language speaks louder than your words sometimes.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
