We as Americans need to recognize the problem we have today with the dependency of foreign oil. I understand that 98% of our heating and electric could be produced by Americans naturally with the use of solar power, corn, and windmills. This can be done on our own turf, safe and healthy ideas that we can all benefit from. This would give us the opportunity to stop our dependence on foreign oils. This would also help the environment, developing cleaner resources. If we took the necessary steps in helping this situation, we would not be where we are today. However, there are many politicians and lobbyist that say different. These same people will lose millions if we started clean energy resourcing. I believe that President Obama has an excellent environmental agenda; this plan really needs to move forward. We as Americans need to step it up and take a stand. Let us do something about it. There is absolutely no need to purchase foreign oil, when we can produce our own supply. This can be done naturally and
