Unformatted text preview: D ry Cleaning To Your Door/Genie D ry Cleaning Lisa Ross Dustin Johnston Fall 2010 Dry-Cleaning-To-Your-Door was founded in 1995 by Becky Ross as a family owned and operated business. However, for the purpose of my research I will concentrate on the 2001 to 2010 time period after the initial ownership transfer from Becky Ross to Lisa Ross. Dry-Cleaning-To-Your-Door is operated as a franchise, DBA business. Dry-Cleaning-To-Your-Door was sold to Lisa Ross in August of 2001 due to time and monetary constraints of the owner. At the time of the sale the business was achieving a profit but not one that properly compensated the founder and primary operator. Since the ownership transfer from Becky Ross Dry-Cleaning-To-Your-Door has reshaped its target market area to include the master planned communities and suburb communities in and around the Harris and Fort Bend counties. Until the recent depression Dry-Cleaning-To-Your-Door has grown by 10-20% annually to produce current profits of more than $250k annually.
