Unformatted text preview: Ben Bernanke – Ben Bernanke was born December 13, 1953 to a Jewish family in Augusta, Georgia. Ben Bernanke received his B.A. in Economics in 1975 from Harvard University, followed by his Ph.D. in Economics from MIT in 1979. After which he taught at Stanford Graduate School of Business for six years before becoming a visiting professor at various universities. In 2005 Ben Bernanke became the Chairman of the Federal Reserve, believed to be one of the few me that could fill Alan Greenspan’s shoes. He is however much less rigid than Alan Greenspan being reluctant to comment on political issues....
