Click to edit Master subtitle style PHYS 2101 Obj10 Required Text : Fundamentals of Physics, by Halliday, Resnick, and Walker, custom 8th ed. The custom edition only contains material relevant to Physics 1100 and 2101. However, it comes bundled with a WebAssign access code, which you will need for the homework assignments. You can also use the regular edition, which contains all the chapters needed for Physics 2101 and 2102, but the regular edition does not come with WebAssign access, which you will need to purchase separately. Course: This course begins with a review of chapters 1 7 in the first two weeks of class. It is expected that you understand the first seven chapters of the textbook prior to your enrolling in PHYS 2101. As a result, the pace of the review will be intense. After the first two weeks the course assumes a more normal pace and will cover most of the section contained in chapters 8 20, with the exception of chapters 17, which will be skipped. The relevant material being covered each week is outlined in the syllabus. You are expected to have read the material in the book before coming to class. Spring 2011
