Background Modern Architecture Modern architecture is a term used to a phase in architectural history during the 20th century. It started with innovation and the modernization of hard work to merge the values essential architectural design with fast technological culture. Modernism is generally depicted by simplification of structure and elimination of embellishment from the structure and theme of the building. Follows a "form follows function" and "truth to materials" notion, meaning that the result of a design should come from its purpose, and that none of the materials should try and be concealed as something else. (e.g a concrete slab as a wall). Showed a use of less materials, as well as more natural light
