Critical Thinking About Sex Before reading the critical thinking section of sex I never really though that their was a process that including critical thinking that involved in it. There are eight different stages of critical thinking of sex that the text offers. In this essay I will explain how I interpret the meanings of the different stages and I will give a real life example of I use them. The first stage is Be Skeptical. I understand meaning as don’t take anyone’s word for something and find out the truth for yourself. One example of real life is how a young lady who attended a church in Miami was thought of in a negative way when she came up pregnant. With out knowing the truth her parents and a lot of people in the congregation treated her like she had committed the ultimate sin. The truth was she was raped and did not tell anyone. The next stage is Examine Definitions and Terms. I understand this as meaning don’t misinterpret the definition and make it your saying and tell people the wrong thing.
