The purpose of the tutorial this week is to get familiar with the technique of designing a flow diagram, defining formulae for the various parts of the diagram and implementing that in iThink. 1. Look through the training material on the isee training materials website and familiarise yourself with the iThink tool. 2. Recreate a model (see resources below) to simulate the following scenario: Meg Buchanan, Group General Manager Marketing of Crowne Estate Ltd, was on her way to visit the Separation Creek winery and vineyard in the Otway ranges of Victoria. She recently had a hectic trip through South East Asia and has not been feeling 100% since her return. On the way to Separation Creek she stopped at Colac for a cappuccino. Unbeknown to her, she was carrying a nasty virus that was in its infectious cycle. Unfortunately, her visit to the Eureka Stockade Coffee Shop set off a chain reaction that will eventually affect all Otway Shire residents; she sneezed and the waitress was infected. The population of Otway Shire is 100,000 and the district hospital has 200 beds
