Unformatted text preview: “You want to know what university life is like? I’ll tell you what it’s like. It’s playing computer games, eating, and sleeping every day. Oh, and studying for the exams on the last minute.” This was the reply I received from my brother when I inquired him about his life in university. His words sent all my dreams and hopes crashing down, breaking into a million pieces. This is university life? This is the life I’m working so hard for? It definitely was not the life I was hoping to have in university. I could feel my disappointment welling up in my chest as I pondered my brother’s response to my question. My disappointment and resentment grew as I strolled around the college campus near my home. The buildings were shabby and lacked beauty. The campus looked barren without trees. People walked hurriedly to their classes with their cell phones pressed to their ears, all too busy to say hello to their fellow classmates. Staring at this sight, I felt sure my shattered dreams shall to say hello to their fellow classmates....
