Blake Cordell 4 th Barnes Life and Death If you could take a guess as to what is the strongest bond in our society what would you say? Well I would say that the strongest bond possible is that of a mother and her child. That bond is something that will always be there no matter what. No matter what happens in life. There came a time in my life when the unbreakable bond was tested. I just turned eight years old when I heard the news that would change my life forever. One Wednesday night right after church I was waiting for my parents to come get me, but instead my grandfather came and picked me up. Right away I knew that something was wrong because my parents always picked me up and my grandfather lived thirty minutes away. So once I got in the car he told me that my mother was in the hospital and I immediately questioned why. He told me it was nothing serious but we were headed over there anyway so I could see her. On the way over to the hospital we had a serious talk that I will never be able to forget. He talked to me about many things on the trip over to the place that seemed to be
