Exam 1 – Outline Date and time of the exam : Monday, February 21 st 2011, 2:30 PM – 3:45 PM (Class timings) Syllabus : Lectures 1 & 2 (Lecture Outlines + Chapters 1 and 2 from the textbook), Seven Eleven Case Study, Reebok NFL Replica Jerseys Case Study, Newsvendor Model and class discussions. Total number of questions : 32 (24 conceptual and 8 problems) Format of the exam : Multiple-choice questions Total time : 75 minutes Specifics : Pay particular attention to problems covered in class, problems given in quizzes, and problems assigned as homework (if any). If you know how to solve these problems, you should be able to solve the problems in the exam. The conceptual questions will be from the lectures, textbook, or will be based on class discussions. The formula sheet in this document is provided for practice. You will receive this formula sheet during exam, therefore do not bring it with you for the exam. You must bring a calculator, #2 pencil and eraser to the exam. No other materials are allowed.
