No, because the z score is 1.5 which means that the area of the tail is .0606 or
6.06%.
This area is larger than the top 5% that will be accepted as correctional
officers.

Yes, because the z score is equal to 3.
This means that the area of the tail is .
0013 or .13%.
This area is substantially smaller than the top 5% of grades
needed to be qualified as a correctional officer. Furthermore, a grade of 110
obviously puts this person in the top 1% rather than the top 5%.
