ProcessModel Minicases (case 5) Develop and execute a ProcessModel Simulation to solve the following two problems. Make sure in your case write up you provide: 1. A description of the simplifying assumptions made during analysis (are these simplifications realistic, are any assumptions especially damaging to the validity of the results) 2. The simulation models used 3. A presentation of the analysis (include any printouts that you believe illustrate your thoughts, what conclusions can you make) Problem 1 A small but busy medical clinic sees three types of patients – high severity, medium severity, and low severity. One of two medical technicians, Eric or Kathryn, work with high severity patients. It takes about 25 minutes to work with the high severity patient. Either Jack or Matt can work with medium severity patients, and it takes about 16 minutes per medium severity patient. Finally, Kat is the only technician who works with low severity patients and it takes her 14 minutes per patient.

### What students are saying

• As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

Kiran Temple University Fox School of Business ‘17, Course Hero Intern

• I cannot even describe how much Course Hero helped me this summer. It’s truly become something I can always rely on and help me. In the end, I was not only able to survive summer classes, but I was able to thrive thanks to Course Hero.

Dana University of Pennsylvania ‘17, Course Hero Intern

• The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
