Quote IDS for the Final Quote IDS for Final There will be six quotations on the final. They will be drawn from all the IDs that I’ve posted on Blackboard for the course, including the new ones listed below and those from the first and second midterms. Of those six, you will be asked to choose four and to discuss them. For each quotation you choose, please identify WHO said it (author or character) and WHERE (name of text); please also explain in your own words WHAT is being said, in detail and with textual evidence; and, most important, WHY it is being said, i.e. the role it plays in the overall argument of the text. 1.
