Interoffice memorandum Date: Mid-Semester To: MGMT 250 Students From: Dr. Lambdin LL Subject: Job Information Interview Interview someone (a STRANGER) who has the job you want as discussed in your first individual presentation. Please begin cold calling businesses in Columbia now. Tell the administrative assistant who answers the phone that you are a student at USC’s Moore School of business and would like to set up a 10 minute interview with someone who works in your area of specialization. Begin calling several weeks prior to due date because folks are busy and appointments are sometimes missed. Give yourself time to get an appointment, do the actual interview, write the memo report, and to take it to the Center for Business Communication in 150 if you’d like help. Write a memo to me of around 2 pages (Summary, Q & A (put the answers in your own words), Conclusion (do you still want that job)). Please physically go to the office in your black suit! Take your resume in your padfolio.Notice the interior;
