HW#12: Computer Aided Engineering Due: 11/20. This homework will be part of your final project which consists of modeling and analyzing an ab-roller. For this homework you will create the wheels, the axles and the connection between the wheels and the axles. The ab-roller consists of 4 wheels. Each wheel is 7/8 inches wide with a 2.5 inch outer diameter and a 0.5 inch inner diameter. The axles are 0.5 inches in diameter and 1.5 inches long. The connection of the axles to the wheels should be modeled using spring elements and constraint elements. This is discussed in more detail below. Wheels (Rollers) The four wheels of the ab-roller should be modeled with solid elements (8 noded brick elements if the wheel is modeled with a hollow center core). A mapped mesh should be used. To reduce the number of nodes in the overall model and hence keep solution time to a minimum, it is recommended to use 2 elements in the radial direction, 3 elements in the circumferential direction over a 90 degree arch, and 2 elements in the axial direction (the thickness of the wheel or roller). The two elements in the axial direction (along with the three in the 90 degree direction) will guarantee a node on the plane of symmetry of
