Lab #2 1. Extrude Command: a) draw a cross-section of the part b) select the extrusion icon, then the cross-section c) 4 choices: new part, protrude, cutout, intersect new part: creates an individual part protrude: adds on to existing part cutout: removes shared volumes intersect: keeps only shared volumes d) select a distance e) for a draft angle: select box on the left of it and type it in 2. Revolve Command: a) draw a cross-section to revolve and an axis to revolve around b) select the revolve icon (pull down menu of extrusion) c) select the cross-section, then center click, select the axis and center click (Again the four selections do the same thing as with the extrude command) enter the angle of rotation (direction of rotation is based on the right-hand rule d) (optional)- put a translation along an axis (total translation) e) (optional)- put a change in radius
