During the Medieval period manors were where the wealthy lived or those that were on top of the feudal system. Manors were built from natural stone and the size of the house told you just by looking at it how wealthy the person living there was. However, the peasants then were living in huts. They were dependent on these manors for the food supply of the King’s court. Over time Europe did get more advances in technology tools for them to use while farming, however with the bad communication
