Examples of phonological or orthographic features: “sngs” (sit and gos – usually a single table poker tournament which begins once enough players have bought in) – acronym “20k” (twenty thousand) – acronym/special symbols “pstars” (Poker Stars – an online poker website) – special spelling “w/” (with) – special spelling/formatting Examples of lexical/morphological features: “donk” (a bad poker player) – slang “railbirds” (someone who observes a poker game without buying in to play) – slang “volatile” – formal word choice Examples of syntactic features: “i am not a joke and that i am in fact telling jokes” – syntactic parallelism
