ANALYZING CREDIBILITY 2 Analyzing Credibility Progressive Insurance pays for their advertisements, and CNN’s Larry King Live pays for their interviews. In the interview with former Mayor Giuliani, I did not detect an intentional slant. The interview seemed to focus on Giuliani’s own opinions in regard to the past events of 9/11. Giuliani is a politician so it is difficult to believe what he says. Often I receive the impression that politicians are attempting to manipulate American citizens, so I tend to discredit their responses. In the interview, there is a reflection of society still adversely affected by 9/11. However, in the advertisements paid for by Progressive Insurance, I believe there is a slant because Progressive is attempting to sell insurance to consumers. In their ads they give the impression of possessing the best and cheapest insurance in the industry. Unfortunately, because Progressive’s ads are an attempt to sell insurance, I do not feel their claims are credible neither.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
