Michelle Nolan 1.28.11 Analyze your food intake by answering the following questions: How does your diet compare to the recommendations you received from the Food Guide Pyramid? How many servings from each food group did you consume? My diet compared to my guide is very different in every category except Grains. I took in .7 cups of milk and I should have obtained 3 cups. With my meat and Beans intake, I took in an average of 5 oz more than I should have. I took in 4.5 oz to much in the veggie department as well. With the grains though I was only .2 less than the recommended. o How might you modify your diet to get the recommended servings for each food group? What are some nutrient-rich foods that you could add to your daily diet? I need to try and eat more balanced at every meal. I tend to grab on the go and then try to eat a big meal at dinner.
