Multi-Vitamins Michelle Nolan February 24, 2011 The multi-vitamin that I chose was my Centrum A-Zinc for Women. It was actually right on in the majority of cases. The Fluoride intake was missing completely so according to the text I would be at higher risk for dental deficiencies. I am also only getting ½ the Calcium that it says that I need. Therefore, according to the text there is a possibility of osteoporosis. I also would not be taking in near the recommended amount for an adult in Chloride. The recommended amount is 2300 mg/day and all that is in the On the other hand I seem to take more Vitamin E than is recommended. The text recommends that the intake for an adult is 15 mg/day but in the multivitamin that I take it

Therefore my metabolism should be on time and my nerves should be functioning normally. I think that for the most part I am on target for a healthy functioning body. The multivitamin that I am taking for women seems to be exactly what I need. The B12 that is higher than recommended is listed with no toxicity and no UL. On the other hand, to much Vitamin E can lead to the inhibition of Vitamin K. The consequences of toxicity are not good for any. I seem to be on target though! Reference: Grosvenor, M.
