Samantha Angel Philosphy 101 Paper three Question # 5 Sexuality and views on it. I feel that Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh’s view on sexual ethics is a conservative but thoughtful view. He feels like you shouldn’t be with someone unless you love them. Also he tries to protect children from over sexuality. Hanh understands that sexual misconduct can hurt others. A lot of people especially younger people don’t understand that when they have sexual misconduct it doesn’t only hurt themselves but also others. I think the fact that he can understand that is very deep and mature. As humans we think about our selves a little too much and not enough about the people around us not just our friends and family but the world as a whole.

Hanh feels like you shouldn’t be with someone unless you love them and are committed to them. This is a normal feeling that a lot of people have to want to be with one person forever and try to stay with them through the good and bad.
