Part One As the news director of a local television station I would have to weigh my options between the  city council closing city parks three days a week and the celebrity death story. In the last  century, the news has been more about getting ratings and less about reporting the news. News  media has a responsibility to its viewers to show an unbiased news report to its viewers and the  public. Our culture has been significantly changed by the breaking news coverage of many  television studios in our time. Based on the importance of the news, many times there will be a  break in regular programming in order to place the news first. Many people in our society are no  longer up to date with current news events because our culture has become so engulfed in  movies and games. I honestly do not remember the last time I watched the news or picked up a  news paper let alone watched cable television because of the easy accessibility of movies and  video games. This becomes a disadvantage to society when it comes to modern media delivery,  however many news stories can be found on the internet which makes the news more  accessible so our society can know what is going on. For example, just go to Yahoo or MSN  and you will find news headlines on their main webpage. In the last century news has gone from  printed pamphlets to being found on every television station, corner store, and website in our  reach.  Ethically, as a news director, I would have the responsibility to report news that pertains

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
