Unformatted text preview: C1-9 The uses of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) are the rules that must be followed in financial reporting. These principles are like laws and are the rules that must be used in financial reporting. These rules can be found through the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) Financial Accounting Research System (FARS) databases that include most accounting standards. There are four categories for authoritative sources (pronouncements) that list which codification is most important. Category A is the most important and includes FASB Statements of Financial Accounting Standards, FASB Statement 133 Implementation Issues, FASB Staff Positions, and APB Opinions and CAP (AICPA). C1-12 While the cheater has received a higher grade than me, I would not be concerned that they did. The cheater is only cheating them of the education they are trying to receive from the course they are taking. I would rather earn a B, than cheat an A. However, I would make the person who was being copied off of aware of the situation. I would suggest they try to keep their paper covered better and make the professor aware of the cheater if he or she persists on trying to copy their answers. I would also suggest that the person being copied off of ask to be moved to a different seat to keep the cheater from copying off of them. ...
