A student would like to add an external UART to their board. Use – CS7 and connect a 16C550 UART to our DSP directly. i.e. use the DSP’s address & data bus. Assume no CPLD is required. Hand draw the schematic connections.

Hand draw the schematic connections. 4. Assuming that we have a 3.072 MHz crystal connected to the 16C550, write code to echo a character that is sent from the PC to the DSP (and back via a terminal emulation program) at 19200 BAUD, 1 start bit, 1 stop bit and even parity. You may use C or assembly to do this but should comment your program for clarity purposes....
