Review of Last Lecture Genes can be cloned  by cutting a source of donor DNA, usually  either Genomic DNA  or a cDNA library   (explained soon) After cutting a vector  with a compatible restriction enzyme , a  recombinant DNA molecule  can be produced by ligating  the  pieces together.
