Review DELETIONS and DUPLICATIONS are both examples of chromosome rearrangements. CHROMOSOME BANDING and FISH can both be used to visualize chromosomes. DUPLICATION AND DIVERGENCE provides a powerful mechanism for molecular evolution. Deletions can result in PSEUDODOMINANCE . DELETION MAPPING reveal gene position and order on a chromosome.
