Diegan 1 Jonathan Diegan Miss R. D. Doddato December 2, 2007 English 111- Section 5 My Quenching Rain When I walked into this class on the first day of classes, I was brand new. I knew no one, and no one knew me. Over the past months I have meet many new people; however one stands out above the rest. This person has guided me throughout life, and throughout this course. She was like a mother, forcing me to do my work, and making sure I was on the right track academically. She guided me through the many emotional moments that have presented themselves in one form or another. She has been there to support, help, or just give me a good laugh. Over the past semester, there has not been one person who has influenced my career at Thiel College more than my first true Thiel friend Valerie. During the first weeks of classes Miss Doddato asked us give a speech about yourself. I am not one to give an honest opinion of myself right off the bat. However, when ever Valerie spook she seemed totally honest.
