THE OFFICIAL LANGUAGE MOVEMENT 2 The Official Language Movement In today’s world ESL and bilingual education is become a big part of the learning world. The reason for this is that every day we find ourselves facing an issue with someone of the Hispanic race and the best way to understand them is to learn their language, in order for us to understand them, and they understand us as we speak to each other. Being able to speak and understand both languages is a helpful tool cause in some job fields a person can get extra pay for knowing two languages that will help the company to serve two different regions. These are good points for a company to reach out to many other people and understand and meet their needs. Having the knowledge to speak another language than your own is always a gift to any company or learning facility. But some of us may question is being bilingual better for us in
