Google (The world giant search engine) Strategic Compensation Decision: 1.Objective: Objective relates to the way compensation support business strategy and how adaptive to culture and regulatory environment. In the case of “Google” their objective are to encourage achievement of companies goals by providing compensation directly tied to individual and company performance within the context of the co-ops values, operating principles and strategic plan. Google is committed to recognizing and rewarding their employee with a total reward package that include competitive pay and comprehensive benefits. Each employee has an influence on the value of their total compensation trough job performance and choice that they make. Other than basic pay they offer incentive pay, retirement and profit sharing. 2.Alignment : Google use egalitarian pay structure. When Google does well, they all do well.
