Diegan 1 Jonathan Diegan Miss R. D. Doddato October 8, 2007 English 111- Section 5 White Water Devastation Why it is that things that should be fun, often times end up being the biggest disasters? As a wise person once said “Too much laugh equals too much cry”. During the past summer I experienced this first hand in Ohiopyle, PA. My fiancé and I ventured there with some friends to go white water rafting on the Yough River. The trip was not at all what we made it out to be. Starting from the beginning, we had trouble. It started even before the rafting began. Getting there seemed to be one of the worse experiences ever. However, the trip hit an all time low during the hours we were on the water. While white water rafting may seem like a fun adventure, as it turns out it was more work than it was worth. Like any good story, this one start from the beginning.
