1 Diegan Jonathan Diegan Miss. R. D. Doddato September 6, 2007 English 111 - Section 5 Journal #2: Dream Job We all have our dreams when we are little. Some of us dream to be firefighters, some of us dream to be rich, and then there are people like me who dream of flying. Well, in an airplane that is. My fascination for flight started at a young age. I mean who has not looked up at a plane and said, would not that be a cool job. I took this thought further and planed my life around my dream, hoping one day to live it for real. Sadly, I would never see that day. Although my dream to fly a plane for a living did not work out, I can still find hope in my future plans and dreams. The first step in any dream is to start one. My dream started at the age of 8 when I went on my first airplane ride. I remember sitting in the terminal and watching the plane pull up. Often I recall the excitement as I stepped on to the plane. By the time I got off the airplane that day, I knew what I wanted to be when I grew up, a pilot. That same year I watched a movie on T.V., “TopGun”, that further proved an airplane pilot was the way for me. I remember the main character flying a jet at high speeds, and in the end getting the girl. I wanted to be that guy in the
