Primary sources include statistical data, historical documents, and works of literature or art. An example of primary research for a paper on health care for children would be surveys conducted for the parents of children obtaining a health care plan. 3. What is secondary research? Make up an example for a paper on water rights for farmers. Secondary research is the examination of studies that other researchers have made of a subject. Examples of secondary sources are articles and books about political issues, and historical events, scientific debates or literary works.
