When a module is chosen to be the operating module, the according enable of the latch is set to high and hence the Q1, Q2 will change with D1,D2 while other latch outputs stay the same. The second part is Driver Circuit. This circuit takes the output from the control circuit and Turn the signals into large current to drive the solenoid. This circuit is shown in Fig. The signals first past through a 74VHC240 Buffer to achieve a current of 25mA.
