Proposal 1.0Introduction : Nike Corporation is proposing the development of a new, state of the art gym facility that will offer a one of a kind workout experience. The New Nike Fitness Arena will open in New York City in Spring 2012 with intentions to spread nationally and globally. The goal and mission of this new fitness arena is to provide a diverse atmosphere for gym members to work out in. 1. Nike History : Back before the Swoosh logo and long before the days it was called Nike, there was Blue Ribbon Sports (BRS). It was the company Phil Knight, Nike founder, and legendary track coach Bill Bowerman created in 1964 to provide athletes with better shoes. Their first year sales totaled around $8,000. It wasn’t until 1971 that BRS introduced the concept of the Greek winged Goddess of victory, Nike. In December 1980 Nike went public. And the rest is history. “ If you have a body, you are an athlete.” (Bill Bowerman) When Nike co-founder Bill Bowerman made this observation many years ago, he was defining how he viewed the endless possibilities for human potential in sports. He set the tone and direction for a young company called Nike, and today those same words inspire a new generation of Nike employees. 2.0Goal of Nike : Nike, and now our goal is to carry on his legacy of innovative thinking, whether to develop products that help athletes of every level of ability reach their potential, or to create business opportunities that set Nike apart from the competition and provide value for our shareholders.

1. Nike has been continuously created new additions to motivate America, athletes, and individuals to be more fit. 3.0Objectives and Solutions: The influence Nike has already had on society is immeasurable, and with the completion of the Nike Fitness Arena, there will be a new way for people to identify with a company that has already done so much. The New Nike Fitness Arena will change the workout industry in ways never done before. It is important to provide customers with an ideal product and the Nike Fitness Arena is the perfect product for anyone looking for a gym with the complete package. The objective is to create a fitness arena that will not only provide members with resources to stay fit, but luxury and the feel of being part of something. This is because we want members to have a positive feeling when coming to the arena, so it will motivate them to stay in shape. To continue the Nike goal and representation, the fitness arena will do the following: 1. Provide the necessary equipment to ensure healthy work out regiments, to ensure that members will have access to work out machines that help them get into shape and stay fit. 1.1.
