Assignment- Selection Tools 2 Selection Tools Name three selection tools that you would consider using for a hiring program at a supermarket. Choose what you think is the best selection tool or combination of selection tools. Justify your choice by describing the advantages of your method compared to other selection tools that were considered. Determine whether you would use the same selection method for hiring the position in your final project. Explain your answer. Organize an interview and selection plan for the position in your final project. Complete the following: Compile a list of interview questions. Explain what interviewing method you would use and why it is preferred over others. Detail the considerations in reaching hiring decisions for this position.

Assignment- Selection Tools 3 Name three selection tools that you would consider using for a hiring program at a supermarket. Three selection tools that I would use for a hiring process would be: 1. criminal background check 2. employment history 3. reference check. Choose what you think is the best selection tool or combination of selection tools. I believe that these three selection tools are all needed in combination to get a good look at what I need as an employer. The background check is vital in any situation; because if the individual has a criminal record; depending on the extent of it, will open the door to the honesty level of the individual. Depending on the severity of the crime and whether or not it was mentioned in the application will help determine the credibility of the individual. The employment history helps determine the staying power or energy level for the individual. If the applicant does not have an employment record one would ask the question; why? Is the applicant getting their first job, are they ashamed of their work history. .. The reference check is a common tool used to get an idea of an individuals personal background. It can be difficult to determine the dependability of this tool, but it allows a window of opportunity to discover other peoples thoughts of an individual. These three tools in combination are needed to get a past, present, and future outlook on an applicant. Justify your choice by describing the advantages of your method compared to other selection
