April Ross Check Point- External Effects on Workplace Health and Safety Analyze how emotional and physical aspects of a person’s life may influence the employee’s effectiveness in the work environment. Separating a persons personal and professional life can be challenging. Every day people go through life dealing with situations from different aspects of their own life (job, kids, spouse, dreams and goals). Since a person only has one body and one brain, the daily challenges that are juggled around can sometimes become difficult to handle. The emotional and physical aspects of a person's life can affect a person at home and on the job. When it comes to the work environment there are certain responsibilities that a person must comply with and that can be challenging. Emotional problems can be caused from problems at home, a low self-esteem, a personal problem, or many other issues. These problems can and usually do affect a persons ability to handle everyday tasks. Depression is one of the major results of emotional problems. When it comes to the
