Whole blood is a living tissue that circulates through the heart, arteries, veins, and capillaries carrying important properties.

Whole blood contains red blood cells that are biconcave sacs filled with hemoglobin that allows red blood cells to carry oxygen from lungs to all body tissues. Platelets are the blood element produced by bone marrow that clots blood in the body. Platelets are suspended in a fluid called plasma. Plasma is the fluid portion of circulating blood. Plasma contains water, proteins, potassium, sodium, chloride, potassium, and bicarbonate. The cells develop from B cells and produce antibodies. White blood cells are known as leukocytes. The white blood cells in the immune system fight for the body against infectious disease and unknown properties that enter the body. Red blood cells, platelets, white blood cells, and plasma make whole blood work in the body....
