Axia College Material Appendix G Peer Review Checklist * What is the main point of this paper? The main point of this paper is the dangers and continuous usage of drugs. Drugs have affected the human body in many negative ways. What is the greatest strength of this paper? The greatest strength of this paper is the writer’s insight of the influence and recreational usage of drugs. Also this leads to how these drugs affect the human body. What material does not seem to fit the main point of the paper or does not seem to be appropriate for the audience? Al though I think the writer did an awesome job on writing this paper, ide have to say the part that may not be appropriate to the audience is the how to use drugs in the papers body. I think that giving them the how can be used to use drugs. Has the author sufficiently addressed counterarguments? Explain your answer. Yes the author has addressed the main counterpart I could think of, which is the legal use of medicinal marijuana. In the papers body the author address the harmful side effects such as killing brain cells during use. This was the argument that it was safe to smoke marijuana because doctors can now prescribe it. The author clearly addressed that point. Where should the author add more details or examples? Explain your answer. Yes the author does lack graphs and statistics. The author might want to show tis to further make the authors point. I believe that with these examples this paper is ready for final submission. Where is the writing unclear or vague? I was unclear as to why the author went into detail by explaining the how to use drugs in the body of the paper. This could have been backed up by more support for the authors point. I do know why the author did this but I wouldn’t want this to be used in a counter argument against me if I was the author. com220r6

What is your favorite part of this piece of writing? I particularly like the being on the introduction to this piece. The author has a clear plan of how to write this piece and does so very well. What other comments can you provide for the author? Please see below Paid Grammerly Grammar Checker Critique. What does the peer reviewer gain from this activity? I have a better understanding of how others feel about drug use. With marijuana being legalized it seems like these days it’s the cool thing to do. What are some drawbacks to peer reviewing? The drawbacks to peer review is one who sees a better paper than theirs and tries to make it on the same level, by introducing negative comments. Also if the paper is less than the reviewer’s paper then it will be held to a higher standard and not get a good review. What other methods can you use to provide effective peer feedback? I also took the liberties of putting the authors work into the paid for by me Grammerly Grammar Checker.
