Multivitamin Analysis The label read on the multivitamins I take I found a many different vitamins and minerals on it. The list of on the label includes; Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Vitamin B12, Vitamin B6, extra Calcium and Iron. The label also mentions that the vitamins do not contain any added preservatives; no Lactose, no gluten, no artificial colors, and no artificial flavors have been added. The daily recommendation of Vitamin C intake is 75 mg; it helps the body mainly as an antioxidant and diminishes the common cold, as well as reduces the risk of heart disease. Diarrhea may result from consuming too much Vitamin C (Forman, 2007). The recommendation of Vitamin E intake is 15 mg; it helps prevent cancer, heart disease, stroke, and signs of aging (Brett, 2010). It is also important to cell membranes. Vitamin B 6 has a recommended intake of 1.3 mg daily, it helps provide energy and improve the metabolism. Vitamin B6 has recommended intake of 1.7 mg per day and helps hemoglobin synthesis. My multivitamin contains 2 mg of Vitamin B6 per capsule. Toxicity for Vitamin B6
