NEWDEALFSA The New Deal Programs Farm Security Administration (FSA). The New Deal enacted by President Franklin D. Roosevelt in the United States between 1933 and 1939 was a set of programs, public work projects, financial reforms, and regulations with the goal of getting people back to work and ending the Great Depression. One of the programs began by The New Deal was The Farm Security Administration (FSA). The FSA goal was to provided transparency into the negative impacts of the Great Depression. Essentially advocating government planning and economic intervention to improve living conditions in rural America. The effects of the Great Depression brought over a decade of pain, suffering, death, disease and loss to the American people like. Started by Roy Stryker born in Kansas in 1893 and raised in Colorado attended the Colorado School of Mines and then attended The Columbia University. Stryker completed a master’s degree in economics establishing his position as an economist from Columbia University. The
