Incident 2-2 1. I think Mack’s approach to solving the problem is a good idea. I think creative group thinking can help Mack fully understand how the employees view the situation they are dealing with that calls for the decision that needs to be made. This could lead to the employee’s being aware that there is a decision to be made and Mack could gain a lot of respect for giving the employee’s a chance to voice their opinions on the matter. Most supervisors would be quick to cut back their hours or lay off a few of their employee’s. Group decisions are a good plan for this type of decision, because their jobs are at risk, and they could come up with the best alternative for what needs to be done. They already have the alternatives; they just need to let the supervisor know which one they believe is the best so that he can come up with the best final decision. 2.
