SOC-220 May 30, 2020, Deborah Wilson Social Problems in the Education System A social problem is any behavior or state that doesn’t have a positive consequence for large numbers of people that is normally acknowledged as a condition or behavior that needs to be labelled. With that being said social problems pay a major part in the education system for example classroom racism which means racism is a social issue that is present in every aspect of society, from business atmospheres to schools. Also, school shootings and just this year alone there has been a total number of 158 and bullying that may results in drug abuse or even suicide. When, looking into schools especially the high schools that’s where most drug abuse take place. For example, more than a decade it was heard of, but the young children were looked at differently if they were on drugs while in school. When I was in high school, I witnessed multiple children that was addicted to drug and depended on it daily. Not to mention the peer pressure that most children faced from the children that was already abusing drugs. As far as
