Vascular Events in an Inflammatory Response Events Simplified description of event Professional description of event 1 st Germs from the nail are introduced below the skin. Nail punchers skin which then the bacteria multiplies. 2 nd Surrounding cells leak fluid that affects the blood vessels. Since the tissue is damaged the histamine gets released into the body. 3 rd The fluid affecting the surrounding blood vessels causes the release of the other cells into the tissue. Histamine causes the blood vessels to enlarge and lets plasma and neutrophils get out of the blood vessels and into the damaged tissue.
