When talking about the Hindu religion most of the people do not know much about it. Well it is created by a bunch of viewpoint that started off in the country that is now India. It is called one of the oldest and the hardest religions to understand. The beliefs can branch off into other kinds that can be monotheistic or polytheistic. God can be in different ranges that are just within a specific place, or to become a larger group that can be millions of people that come together for God. The religion can come in many forms and it consists of texts and Vedas. The Hindus believe in the eternal soul and it goes through three stages repeatedly which is birth, life, death. It is called rebirth and it is depended on karma which it would take how you lived that life that you just left, and it would determine what life would be waiting on them. The religion can be categorized into four groups which are Shaivism, Smartism, Shaktism, and Vaishnaism. There are six sub categories that are said to be folk which they are Vedic, Vendantic, Yogic, Dharmic, and Bhakti (McDaniel, 2011). It is very hard to categorize each and every one because the traditions over lap each other. So having that many categories is one reason they are the largest religion. There are many
