One who has made the decision to join the army I believe is making a decision to represent their country, defend their territory as well as all who live within its borders. The army now in one of the many places that many cultures are represented, but no matter what you are an American. Soldiers undergo severe and long periods of training. When soldiers are inducted into the army post graduation, whether deployed overseas or stationed in the United States, we all take much pride in showing our soldiers and their families for their great contribution they are giving to us all that they take such a noble role in defending our country. The more one continues their journey in the army, advancement of ranks, merits, and awards he or she will receive in their efforts to defending our country. A general in the highest rank one can receive in the officer ranks. General are looked at with a great deal of respect and honor, while also exemplifying a superb and upmost gentlemen like understanding of what it means to defend and
