Rebellion -When Katniss entered the Hunger Games, she did so with another teen from her district named Peeta Mellark. Katniss feels indebted to Peeta for a kindness he showed her after her father died. Peeta is in love with Katniss. Therefore, neither of them wants to have to kill the other. However, there is only one winner in the Hunger Games. Everyone else must die. The "Game Makers" change the rules midway through the game. Peeta and Katniss are led to believe that if they are the last two standing, they will not have to kill each other. After days of fighting skilled killers and trying to find food in an unforgiving wilderness, Peeta and Katniss are the only ones left standing. They are elated. Then, they are told that the rules have changed again. This is when they decide to rebel against the barbaric game like no one has before. -Thousands of people are watching as Katniss and Peeta refuse to kill each other. Instead, they both pick up batches of poison berries and prepare to eat
